The Falcon-9 rocket from SpaceX, known for its reusability, can handle double the weight of GSAT-20, exceeding 8,300 kg, making it an ideal choice for this mission. Having completed 285 flights to various destinations in space, Falcon-9’s reliability is a key factor in ISRO’s decision.
