March 5th marks the eagerly anticipated global and India launch of the Nothing Phone (2a), poised to make a splash in the smartphone arena. Adding to the excitement, high-resolution 5K renders of the Nothing Phone (2a) have recently surfaced online, showcasing its complete design. Furthermore, the company has put rumours to rest by confirming that the Phone (2a) will indeed be powered by the Dimensity 7200 chipset.

Nothing Phone (2a) Design

The Nothing Phone (2a) has been officially confirmed to feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, complemented by 12GB of RAM and support for 8GB of virtual RAM. Revealed through renders shared by Smartprix, the phone boasts a sleek design with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, along with symmetrical bezels for a balanced aesthetic.

On the left edge, you’ll find the volume rocker, while the power button sits on the right spine. With its boxy chassis and rounded corners, the phone offers improved grip and handling. At the bottom, you’ll find the USB Type-C port, speaker vents, primary microphone, and SIM tray slot, while a secondary microphone is located at the top.

Turning to the rear of the phone, you’ll find dual camera sensors arranged horizontally within a centrally positioned circular island, accompanied by an LED flash cutout. Unlike its predecessors, the Phone (1) and Phone (2), which feature Glyph lights spanning the entire back panel, the Phone (2a) opts for a more subtle approach with LED lights encircling only the camera module, totalling three light strips. The back panel showcases a transparent design, accentuated by visible screws, and proudly displays the Nothing logo.

Fresh. Eyes.

The official Phone (2a) launch event is happening on 5 March 2024, 5 PM.
