Through this feature, users may be able to access various games and apps directly on the platform, one that is embedded in an iframe within the platform, sharing the experiences with all.
Through the addition of this feature, new apps and games are expected from developers to deliver on the platform, with examples like directly embedding YouTube, sharing a live activity, and more.
The available Activities now present this experience for Discord as a start, but more are coming in the future as the platform is opening this directly on the Developer Portal.
The new Embedded App SDK will give developers a chance to build new experiences directly onto the Discord chat platform, and here, they may also get monetized for their work.
