Australia pulled off an impressive five-wicket victory against India in the third T20I matchup in Guwahati this Tuesday. The match turned into a high-scoring affair, culminating in Glenn Maxwell’s sensational century which led the Aussies to a thrilling last-over win.

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first, prompting India to set a target. The home team responded impressively, with opener Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 123* marking the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is. India posted an imposing total of 222/3 in their 20 overs.

In the chase, Australia made a strong start, tallying 67 runs in the powerplay. The highlight was Glenn Maxwell’s explosive innings, with a 47-ball century, playing a major role in Australia’s successful run chase.
