Man of the Match in the World Cup 2023 final between India and Australia: Who will it be?

Posted on November 17, 2023 By Haley Bennett

India and Australia will face off in the final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the first semifinal, India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs, posting a massive 397/4 at the Wankhede Stadium. Meanwhile, Australia overcame South Africa in a low-scoring game at Eden Gardens, chasing down 213 in the second semifinal.

Throughout the tournament, both teams have had exceptional individual performers who have shone against the odds. Mohammed Shami has been brilliant for India with the highest number of wickets (23) and will be a key player to watch out for in the final. Virat Kohli has also been in sublime form, becoming the first batsman to score over 700 runs in a single edition of the World Cup.

For Australia, Glenn Maxwell can be the game-changer with the bat, while Adam Zampa has 22 wickets to his name and can be decisive with the ball. As for the Man of the Match award in the final, according to odds on Dafabet, Virat Kohli is the favorite.

In addition, fans can also make bets on the match and participate in Dafabet’s CWC 2023 predictor game for the chance to win the latest Apple gadgets and big INR prizes.

With the stage set for an intense battle between the two cricketing powerhouses, the India vs Australia World Cup final is poised to be an epic showdown. Who will emerge victorious and claim the coveted title? Fans and bettors alike eagerly await the outcome.
