Google Play’s Best of 2023 award results have been announced, celebrating outstanding apps, games, and developers in India. Among the winners is a voice app designed to improve language skills for non-native English speakers globally through AI-generated feedback. An ecommerce app focused on meeting the fashion preferences of Gen Z users has also been recognized, with special attention to non-metro cities. Additionally, a social media app prioritizing safety and community building, and an action game tailored for the Indian audience were honored.

A significant number of these award-winning titles are from Indian developers. They now have access to over 2.5 billion monthly active users across 190 markets on Google Play, showcasing their ability to create solutions that resonate globally.

The Best Apps of 2023 in India include Level SuperMind: Focus & Calm, THAP: Your Happiness Gym, Dashtoon: Comics & Manga, Pepul (a social media app from India), and others. The Best Apps for Smartwatches include Audible: Audio Entertainment and WhatsApp Messenger.

The Best Games of 2023 in India consist of titles like Monopoly GO!, Subway Surfers Blast, Battle Stars, and Call of Dragons. The full list of winners for various devices and categories can be found on Google Play.

This year’s award results showcase the impressive talent and innovation of Indian developers, reaching a global audience and making significant impact in their respective categories. The achievements of these developers contribute to Google Play’s Best of 2023 in India.
