Prior indications suggested that Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Book 4 series laptops in the first quarter of 2024. The initial launch is slated for Samsung’s home country, followed by a subsequent release in international markets. Leveraging its existing global presence with the Galaxy Book laptops, Samsung aims to introduce the Galaxy Book 4 series in December, as disclosed by Yonhap News. The specific launch date is revealed to be December 15, with expectations high for the simultaneous debut of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at the event. These forthcoming Galaxy Book 4 laptops are poised to be Samsung’s inaugural AI laptops, with plans to integrate the Samsung Gauss AI model into the devices.

Expected specs

The device is expected to boast a 16-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a QHD+ resolution and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. Running on an Intel Core Ultra 7155H Meteor Lake processor with 16 cores, the laptop may support up to 32GB RAM and offers 1TB of storage. Samsung may equip the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU featuring 6GB VRAM. Additionally, the laptop will debut a variant with an Intel Core 9 185H chipset and an 8GB GDDR6 Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 is anticipated to share a similar display and might run on Intel Core 7155U chipset, supporting up to 16GB of RAM. On the other hand, the standard Galaxy Book 4 Pro features a smaller 14-inch screen with WQXGA resolution and is equipped with an Intel Core 7155U processor. This chipset pairs with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.

Finally, the Galaxy Book 4 and Galaxy Book 4 360 models come with a 15.6-inch display and FHD+ resolution. Running on an Intel Core 5 120U processor, these laptops support up to 8GB of RAM and offer 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.
