His debut came against West Indies at Kingston on June 20, 2011 and did not impress in his first outing in red-ball cricket. Kohli registered scores of 4 & 15 in the two innings of his maiden Test.

How have India performed in Tests that Virat Kohli missed?

Since Kohli made his debut in 2011, India have played 126 Tests. 

Of those 126 Tests, Kohli has missed 13 Tests in total. India have won six Tests, lost five, and drew two games. 

The most recent Test that India lost was in January 2022 against South Africa in Johannesburg as they slumped to a 7-wicket loss.
