Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 Series to Debut Soon in China with Official Renders Leaked
The much-anticipated launch of Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 series is on the horizon, with three upcoming devices – the Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. Recently, official renders of the standard Redmi K70 have been leaked online, and MySmartPrice has spotted the device with the model number 2311DRK48C on the Geekbench database.
According to the listing, the Redmi K70 achieved a single-core score of 1248 and a multicore score of 4177. The device is expected to run Android 14 and be equipped with 15GB of RAM, a 3.35 GHz CPU, and a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. These specifications hint at the possibility of the upcoming Dimensity 8300 chipset.
Furthermore, there are speculations about a potential launch of the Redmi K70 series in the second week of December 2023. The POCO F6, a device with a model number that overlaps with the Redmi K70, is also expected to debut in India in the first quarter of 2024.
Following the past strategy of Xiaomi, where the base Redmi K60 was introduced in India as the POCO F5 Pro, there are rumors circulating that the Redmi K70 and K70E may also be introduced under the POCO brand globally. However, the Redmi K70 Pro is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
It is important to approach initial certifications with caution as they provide limited details about smartphones. Official confirmation is awaited to provide more accurate and comprehensive information.
As more details unfold about the upcoming Redmi K70 series and its potential connection to the POCO brand, tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting further updates. Stay tuned for official announcements.
