New details about the Google Pixel 8a have surfaced from Android Authority’s special report. It seems the phone will have a really good screen with bright colors and smooth scrolling, just like the expensive Pixel 8. This is a big upgrade from the Pixel 7a, which had a decent screen but not as fancy.

The screen parts might come from two different companies, maybe BOE and Samsung. Also, there’s talk that the Pixel 8a could have a special feature called DisplayPort, similar to the Pixel 8.

Inside, the Pixel 8a is getting a boost with a new and improved chip called Tensor G3, better than what’s in the Pixel 7a. The graphics are also getting better with something called Mali-G715. However, Google might use a slightly different version of this chip compared to the Pixel 8.

For the front camera, there might be a 13MP Sony IMX712 sensor.

Google’s Pixel 8a aims to tackle the issue of limited availability seen with previous models like the Pixel 7a, which was only accessible in 21 countries. In contrast, Apple’s devices are sold in over 140 countries.
